Young Adel is confronted with his father’s nontraditional sexuality. Before the latter has a chance to explain himself, Adel, in a moment of thoughtlessness, tells his mother. This starts an argument in which Adel becomes a pawn torn between his father and his mother. He is forced to choose between tolerance and tradition.
